High Tech Homes Construction, Consulting & Seminars, LLC was created in 2006 as a sister-company to Air Brokers HVAC, LLC. The development of High Tech Homes was in response to our clients’ needs as they sought credible, industry-approved recommendations regarding construction applications and enhancements that lead to increased energy-efficiency throughout homes built in today’s residential and light commercial construction market.
Owner, Gemma McKee-Bartholomew, is a veteran in the HVAC industry and holds licenses as an HVAC/R Master Mechanic, Missouri-Licensed Heat Pump Well Driller and General Contractor.

Over the past several years McKee-Bartholomew has gained recognition throughout the HVAC and construction industries as an expert in geothermal heating and cooling, as well as a residential design specialist who not only advises her clients on energy-efficient construction methods, but who also builds “green” homes according to those recommendations – and with notable success.
Interviewed in magazine publications such as Smart Homeowner, National Well Driller, Journal of Light Construction, and countless others, McKee-Bartholomew’s model homes are the focus of several current and upcoming feature stories including Popular Mechanics, ecoLogical Home Ideas, and Phc News.
The ultimate goal at High Tech Homes “Green” Construction, Consulting & Seminars, LLC is to educate and empower today’s consumers to insure their homes are built to exceed current construction standards, dramatically reduce the risk of being held hostage by energy prices, and create the most comfortable and healthy indoor living environment possible. And that goal is not kept in reserve for those who can well afford this technology. Our ongoing commitment is to create construction options and standards that apply to construction of all types - from “workforce housing” to multi-million dollar homes nationwide.
